e-conomic is hiring an ambitious Product Manager to own an end-to-end AI-native problem area, from discovery to shipped code and measured outcomes. You’ll work closely with Product Design, Product Engineering, and the Product Intelligence team in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

You are a hands-on builder who thrives in a hybrid Danish setting and can conduct user discovery with local bookkeepers and business owners. English fluency plus Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a digital B2B SaaS or consumer product with active users.
• You use AI tools daily for actual work—research synthesis, prototyping, evals and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined problem area with scope co-owned with engineering and design, focusing on validated user outcomes.
• Run continuous discovery with Danish bookkeepers and business owners to convert complex workflows into automated steps.

Product Manager – AI-Native Builder

We are hiring an ambitious, hands-on Product Manager to join our product organization. We deploy PMs into key value streams - automation, agentic, advisory and future growth - where our strategy unfolds. You will join one of these value streams.

The Role

As a Product Manager, you will own a defined problem area end-to-end - from customer discovery to shipped code and measured outcomes.

You won't just write specifications; you will actively build, test, and validate. You will run discovery directly with users, design hypothesis-led tests, pull data, draft AI skills or workflows, and prove the impact of what you deliver.

What you will do:

• Own a defined problem area: own the scope alongside engineering and design, focusing relentlessly on validated user outcomes over feature volume.
• Run continuous discovery: Maintain regular contact with Danish bookkeepers and business owners to turn complex, rule-bound workflows into automated steps.
• Build and prototype: Use modern AI tools, scripts, prototype kits, and prompt/skill design to test solutions fast. The working artifact is your argument.
• Instrument and prove success: Define metric baselines before building. Measure success through actual hours saved, approval rates, or adoption.
• Evolve your practice: Model an AI-native working method - and bring what you learn back to the PM team so we can share what we learn.

Where the role sits

You'll work together with Product Design and Product Engineering, alongside a senior product lead in one of our value streams, and closely with our Product Intelligence team. e-conomic is a product-led company, and we are building the product organisation to match: cross-functional collaboration, short build-to-learn loops, and direct contact with our customers.

Your Profile

You are an energetic PM with 2-3 years under your belt, comfortable in fast-paced software environments, and already pushing the boundaries of how AI can improve product development.

• 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a digital B2B SaaS or consumer product organisation with active users in production.
• AI-native in practice: You use AI tools daily to do actual work - research synthesis, prototyping, evals, and data analysis. You can show what you’ve built.
• Hands-on builder mentality: Comfortable pulling your data, building and testing prototypes and bringing validated solutions to customers.
• Habitual customer discovery: Practical experience conducting user discovery and setting quantitative success metrics before building.
• Language: Fluent in professional English, plus full proficiency in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish (must be able to read Danish regulatory material and interview local users).

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in accounting, fintech, auditing, or Danish bookkeeping compliance.
• Built customer-facing agentic/LLM features - prompt design, evals, human-in-the-loop approval UX.

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The Interview Process

Applications are reviewed continuously, and we invite candidates for interviews as we go.

Initial screening: Initial chat to learn more about your motivation and align on compensation together with Diana, Talent Partner.

1st interview: Meet up with Amalie, Manager of Product Management, where we’ll learn more about you, and you’ll get to know the role more in depth. Duration: ~60 min.

2nd interview: Dive deep into the strategic complexity with Amalie and the hiring team. You’ll receive a business case and personality assessment in advance to prepare. We will dedicate at least 1 hour of this session to an interactive case presentation and strategic discussion.

If all interviews align, we typically follow up with two short reference calls as part of the process.
