Job summary

Alfa Laval Aalborg, Denmark, is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer with a focus on product design maintenance to own engineering changes across the portfolio. You will drive mechanical and system design changes end-to-end, assess impacts, and document solutions, collaborating across functions to ensure performance and manufacturability.

Based at our Aalborg site, you'll also develop detailed design documents for parts and complete products and contribute to future burner and heat exchanger

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical steel design (structures/pressure vessels).
• Structured, analytical, and able to take technical decisions independently.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design changes and maintain existing product portfolio.
• Assess impact of changes on surrounding systems and risk analyses.
• Develop detailed design documents for parts and products.
