Job summary

ForeFlight is seeking a highly-motivated Product Designer to join our team in Denmark. You will help define and design the future of aeronautical products and services, collaborating with product management and engineering in a cross-disciplinary team to deliver safe, cost-effective planning and flying experiences for pilots worldwide.

You will contribute across discovery to launch with a user-centered approach, producing design artifacts, conducting user research, and evolving our design

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products.
• Strong portfolio showing process, reasoning, and outcomes.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Danish is a plus.
• Ability to present clearly and communicate intent.
• Highly collaborative and inclusive design process.
• Experience with Apple HIG and web/app design.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Proficient with Figma.
• Right to live and work in Denmark or the EU/EEA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers on features for pilots.
• Translate user needs into intuitive pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight flows.
• Create sketches, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI mocks, and prototypes.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability tests.
• Drive design critiques and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain and improve the design system.
• Advocate for scalable web and mobile solutions.
• Ensure design handoffs to engineering are precise and timely.
