Job summary

ForeFlight seeks a Product Designer in Denmark to shape aeronautical tools with a user-centered approach. You will lead discovery through launch, working with product and engineering to craft data-driven features for pilots and dispatchers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Figma, with English as working language. Danish language skills are a plus but not required. Based in Denmark (Copenhagen area preferred) or remote within Denmark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products.
• A strong portfolio showing process and outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Collaborative, with ability to explore and articulate design decisions.
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and web best practices.
• Experience on Web and iOS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers to create intuitive, data-driven features.
• Navigate ambiguity, balance user needs with business objectives.
• Produce sketches, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI mockups, and prototypes.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing.
• Ensure smooth handoffs to dev and maintain a high-quality user experience.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system.
• Advocate for scalable web and mobile solutions.
• Help grow design team culture and practices.
