ReQruiting ApS in the Copenhagen area is seeking a Product Architect for AI Inference and Cybersecurity platforms. You will define system architectures for software/hardware networking products and lead cross-functional design efforts with HW, SW, FPGA, and cloud teams.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, hands-on experience with Linux, network protocols, and high-performance server platforms, and can translate customer use cases into feasible architectures while driving agile product

Responsabilidades

• Collect and compile product requirements with Product Management and customers/partners.
• Own product level requirement specifications.
• Create and document system architecture together with the R&D team.
• Own of product level architecture and solution specification.
• Guide implementation of product architecture into working solutions with the R&D team.
• Supervise architecture is implemented as agreed.
• Facilitate discovery and resolution of technical issues/bottlenecks at product level.
• Define and own product level functional and performance metrics.
• Analyze and design new features and functionality with the R&D team.
• Participate in continuous improvement of product architecture processes and tools to maximize productivity and quality.
• Participate in product development from idea to final release.
• Keep up to date with new technology and trends within the networking domain.

Technical skilled in creation of product architecture and system designs for software/hardware based networking products targeting AI Inference and Cybersecurity.

The position requirements:

• Technical skilled and experienced architect engineer
• Strong communicator - verbal, written and presentation
• Transformation of complex conceptual ideas (e.g. loosely specified customer use cases) into feasible system designs
• Network protocols, e.g. HTTP, TCP, IP, RoCE, Ethernet (SUE, UEC)
• Interaction with customers and external partners at technical product level e.g. mapping out customer use cases at technical level and presenting technical solutions for the customer
• Valued Medium: Driver and/or embedded low level SW development in Linux or Windows
• Software architecture at OS-kernel/user-level for effective, high performance server based platforms
• Intel x86 server platform at system/component level, e.g.
• Insight into product architecture in one or more of these areas:
• AI Inference HW/SW based on LLM, SLM or traditionalML algorithms
• Cybersecurity protocols such as IPSec, MACSec orPQC/QKD
• Network storage protocols such as NVMe-oF and RDMA
• Insight into network virtualization technology at softwarecomponent level, e.g. Kubernetes, QEMU/KVM and SR-IOV
• FPGA/ASIC IP technology
• Insight into Datacenter/Cloud network infrastructure incl. management and deployment tools
• Hands-on software development in open source communities, such as Linux, DPDK or SPDK
• Agile product development methodology and tools

• Guide the defined product level architecture into a successful product launch
• Contribute with 2-3 new tools for the product architecture "toolbox"
• Establish him/her-self as the Product Architect for one of NT's product lines. Which product line will be decided during the first 12 months.

• Preferably 5 years of experience from datacom or telecom industry

Education

• Preferably an educational background as software engineer (M.Sc.E.E) or similar

The Product Architect is part of the 'Office of Technology' which is a team in the R&D organization. See org. chart below.

The Product Architect reports to the Chief R&D Officer (CRDO) and is a member of the Extended R&D Management team which includes CRDO, Functional Managers, Project Managers and Product Architects

The Product Architect is accountable for development and maintenance of the technical solutions at product level used in one or more of the NT product lines.

The Product Architect directs the development of the technical product solution through participation in cross functional product development team(s) with members from HW, SW, FPGA, HW, System Test, Documentation, Operations, Project Management and Product Management.

During product development the Product Architect takes a leadership role in a 'project-triade' which is established for all product development projects. The 'project-triade' is accountable for successful delivery of product development projects from conception to market launch.
