Job summary

DS Smith Denmark is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to strengthen supplier partnerships and drive local savings. Based in Grenaa, you will work with the Nordic Procurement Team to implement global strategies in the Danish market.

You will manage the full lifecycle of local supplier agreements, report to the Head of Procurement Operations, Nordic Region, and operate in a hybrid model with up to two remote days per week. Danish and English fluency is essential.

Procurement Operations Specialist, Denmark

We are looking for a new colleague who wants to join us in promoting the circular economy! We are currently seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist for our offices in Denmark, based in Grenaa, in a full-time, permanent position. The key purpose of the role is to support our Danish operations as part of the Nordic Procurement Team.

About The Role

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our key suppliers supporting DS Smith Denmark. You will follow our global procurement strategies and work closely with the Nordic procurement team. You will manage the full lifecycle of local supplier agreements and drive the achievement of budgeted local savings targets and improvement initiatives.

The position is based in Grenaa, and you will report to the Head of Procurement Operations, Nordic Region. The role offers a hybrid working model, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

About You

We hope you bring experience in procurement, preferably gained in an international environment, along with a relevant university degree.

You enjoy collaborating with both external and internal stakeholders and can quickly understand complex business environments from a commercial perspective. You have a logical, solution-oriented approach and enjoy helping others and working as part of a collaborative team.

You are proficient in the Microsoft 365 environment and preferably have experience with SAP. You are quick to learn new systems that support efficient business operations.

You are fluent in both Danish and English; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
