Job summary

Ambu A/S is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Global Procurement division in the Procurement Insights team. You will execute analytics projects and deliver data-driven insights to procurement colleagues across worldwide functions, shaping the future analytics agenda with curiosity and analytical rigor.

• Develop new analytical concepts, modelling, and systems for actionable insights on market and spend developments.
• Shape and develop the future analytics agenda for Global Procurement to maximize data and technology value.

In this role you will be expected to use your skills to create real impact in a fast-growing, global organization. As our new Procurement Analyst, some of your main tasks will be:

• Executing various analytics projects, e.g., market-, commodity- & fundamental analysis, forecasting, cost-breakdown modelling & should-cost analysis, etc.
• Providing procurement colleagues with various data, insights, and tool & application support for projects and activities at various stages (tendering, contract negotiations, etc.)
• Developing new analytical concepts, modelling, and -systems to provide actionable insights into market and spend developments for our key stakeholders
• Shaping and developing the future analytics agenda of Global Procurement to ensure we get the most out of our data and technology, as well as making sure that we stay on top of future analytics trends

It is vital that you are curious about how things work and have a strong interest in data & analytics. We expect you to naturally seek new challenges, tasks, and technology. You possess strong communication and people skills, enabling you to build sound relationships and collaborate well across multiple functions.

We imagine our new Procurement Analyst having some years of relevant work experience. You likely have an M.Sc. in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or similar.

• Have strong analytical skills and take a critical approach to the data and problems you work with
• Find pragmatic solutions by applying methods and theory balanced with a good understanding of business needs
• Experiment and aren’t afraid of failing while trying new things
• Use your analytical mindset and a structured way of working, to competently translate high complexity into simple concepts, and communicate these clearly and concisely
