NNE is seeking a Process Modelling & Simulation Engineer to join Early Simulation Insights. You will model and simulate process alternatives, utilities, and space impacts to support early decision-making in API facility projects.
You will collaborate with customers and senior specialists to translate inputs into viable simulation options and evaluate configurations and bottlenecks across processes. The role is on-site with limited remote options.
Are you passionate about using modelling and simulation to turn complex pharmaengineering questions into data-based insights?
We are a leading pharma engineering company shaping the future of API pharma engineering globally. Leveraging the expertise of 2,000+ employees across Denmark, India, and the US, we design, build and optimise pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are essential to the health and well-being of patients everywhere.
Our success is driven by passion, innovation, and collaboration - with our customers and across our teams and disciplines. If you share our dedication to a noble cause and our passion for API pharma engineering, then NNE is the place for you.
We are looking for motivated Process Modelling & Simulation Engineers to join our growing team in Early Simulation Insights as part of our Process Systems Intelligence area. In this role, you will help establish a data-based foundation for early decision-making in API facility projects by modelling and simulating process alternatives, utility needs and process-space impacts.
Early Simulation Insights is a team of engineers, students and specialists working with process, utility and process-space modelling and simulation. Our work primarily takes place before typical pharma project phases such as Conceptual Design and Basic Design, where early insights can guide direction before key design decisions are locked.
Whether you are a recent graduate or an industry professional with a focus on mathematical modelling and simulation of process/flowsheet alternatives, this role offers a unique opportunity to interject and apply theory for Good-Engineering Practice, in order to have a real business impact. You’ll play a key role in close collaboration with customers and our Specialists to identify and evaluate relevant process configurations.
Examples of our project offerings span from small-scale API development and pilot facilities to full-scale manufacturing plants, supporting our customers to make timely and informed decisions.
NNE is short for Novo Nordisk Engineering. And for all of us who work here, NNE means so much more.
At NNE, you become part of a vibrant, project-based environment built on close day-to-day collaboration. The role is therefore primarily on-site, with physical presence at the workplace expected five days a week. Limited flexibility for occasional remote work may be accommodated in line with business needs.
We are, at our core, a people business and, as such, committed to continuously developing our people and the way we work together. We do not expect you to know it all from day one, and we truly believe a great start makes a real difference. We therefore welcome new colleagues with our award-nominated onboarding programme, supported by a range of in-house talent and development initiatives designed to support your long-term growth.
