Job summary

Cytiva in Vallensbaek Strand, Denmark, is seeking a Process Engineer for a maternity cover role on-site. You will drive continuous improvements in agarose manufacturing processes, implement new equipment, and validate technologies with production and pilot-plant teams.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or process engineering background with 5+ years of relevant experience, plus strong procurement and validation skills and Danish (or Scandinavian) and English language proficiency.

You will be a main driver in implementing new technologies in production and validate the functionality afterwards.This position reports to the Site Director and is part of the Cytiva Denmark Manufacturing organization located in Vallensbaek Strand, Denmark, and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do

Who You Are

• Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer or other relevant technical education with +5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with purchasing, installation and validation of new equipment
• Good technical understanding of production equipment and production processes
• Full professional proficiency in Danish or other Scandinavian language and English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience from manufacturing industry within chemicals, food, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals or similar.
