Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect.
• Strong knowledge of historic building materials, construction methods, and conservation principles.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAD software for drawing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on historical buildings and sites to understand significance and construction methods.
• Develop preservation plans adhering to regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals on preservation projects.
• Inspect and assess condition of historical structures and determine repairs or restorations.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects.
