Preservation Architect vacancy in Roskilde Denmark

Preservation Architect As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of historical buildings and structures in the city of Roskilde. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that all projects comply with local and national preservation standards. Your main duties will include conducting site assessments and surveys, developing preservation plans and proposals, overseeing construction projects, and providing guidance on materials and techniques for preserving historical structures. You will also be responsible for conducting research on the history of buildings and documenting any changes made during the preservation process. To excel in this role, you must have a degree in Architecture with a specialization in historic preservation. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on historical preservation projects. Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods is essential. As a Preservation Architect, you must possess excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is also preferred. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates. As such, you must have a valid work permit or be eligible for one in order to apply for this position.
