Job summary

Differentierede og biofunktionelle fødevarer invites applications for a 2-year Post Doc position focusing on isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles from plants and their cargo under abiotic conditions.

The successful candidate will independently cultivate plants, optimize extraction methods, and develop targeted assays for assessing specific compounds, plus set up mammalian cell‑line bioactivity tests.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with extracellular vesicle isolation and characterization preferred.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular techniques (qPCR, miRNA mapping, LC-MS) valued.

Responsibilities

• Isolate and characterize extracellular vesicles from plants.
• Optimize extraction methods for vesicles under varying conditions.
• Develop targeted assays to assess specific compounds.
• Set up and run bioactivity assays using mammalian cell lines.
