Job summary
University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a 3½-year Postdoctoral research position in Environmental Toxicology focused on histopathological and behavioral endpoints in fish. The project is part of PARC and Danish EPA collaborations within SDU's Ecotoxicology group.
You should hold a PhD in Environmental Toxicology with strong experience in regulatory toxicology, OECD test guidelines, and Zebrafish models. English proficiency and teaching/supervision experience are essential.
Qualifications
- PhD in Environmental Toxicology required.
- Experience with regulatory toxicology and EU chemicals legislation (REACH) desired.
- Hands-on experience with zebrafish models and histopathology techniques required.
- Strong English communication and teaching/supervision experience expected.
- Familiarity with OECD fish tests (TG 236, TG 210) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop histopathological and behavioral endpoints in fish.
- Conduct and supervise Zebrafish-based assays and endpoints development.
- Collaborate with EU PARC, Danish EPA and SDU teams on project milestones.
- Supervise MSc students and contribute to teaching activities.
