Job summary

DTU Compute invites applications for a fully funded post-doctoral position. The role focuses on probabilistic machine learning, uncertainty quantification, and sequential decision-making under uncertainty, with real-world validation including dynamic pricing.

You will work in the Section for Cognitive Systems, contribute to research publications, and engage in limited teaching activities within a collaborative, international environment at DTU Compute in Denmark.

Qualifications

• PhD in machine learning, signal processing, data science or related field.
• Proven knowledge in probabilistic ML and deep learning.
• Experience publishing results in quality journals/conferences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on probabilistic ML and active inference for sequential decision-making under uncertainty.
• Develop novel models/algorithms and implement/evaluate them using modern ML frameworks.
• Explore realistic use cases such as dynamic pricing and disseminate results through publications.
• Contribute to the academic environment, including limited teaching and supervision.
