Job summary

DTU Compute invites applications for a fully funded 3‑year PhD position in computer vision, multimodal AI and human‑AI interaction. You will develop visual dialogue models, curate datasets, and publish at leading venues while collaborating with researchers in Denmark and abroad.

The role includes teaching as a TA and a short international research stay, starting Fall 2026 in a strong, globally oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in Python.
  • Proven hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks.
  • High motivation and innovation.
  • Experience in computer vision is a plus.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop state-of-the-art computer vision and multimodal AI models for visual dialogues.
  • Build and curate datasets to train and evaluate these models.
  • Publish and present your research at top venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV).
  • Spend a few months abroad during your PhD; assist in teaching as a teaching assistant at DTU.
