Job summary

Aarhus University invites applications for a postdoctoral position “Human AI Collaboration: Imaginaries, Interventions, Interfaces” funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark – Culture and Communication. The one-year, full-time contract commences 01 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will contribute to SP5 (Human–AI Collaboration Lab) and WPs 1–3, conduct research across SP1–SP4, and teach at BA and MA levels in English and Danish, within a strong

Qualifications

• International research profile and publications as appropriate for a postdoctoral level.
• Experience in management of research projects.
• Teaching experience at university level with portfolio or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to SP5 (Human–AI Collaboration Lab) and thematic WPs 1–3 (AI & Identity, AI & the Archive, AI Interfaces).
• Conduct research across subprojects SP1–SP4 and disseminate results in papers and talks.
• Participate in teaching and supervision at BA/MA levels and contribute to the department's academic life.
