Job summary

The Quantum Matter Lab at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship to study topologically protected synthetic matter in 1D and 2D arrays of semiconductor–superconductor Josephson junctions.

The successful candidate will conduct nanofabrication and low-temperature measurements using cryofree dilution refrigeration, perform data analysis, and collaborate with theoretical physicists.

Qualifications

  • PhD in condensed matter experimental physics or related field.
  • Experience with low-temperature measurements and quantum devices.
  • Strong data analysis and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and perform experiments on 1D/2D Josephson junction arrays.
  • Collaborate with theorists and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Analyze data and present findings to the group.
