Job summary

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a two-year postdoc position in the field of Economics of Science and Innovation at the Department of Strategy and Innovation. The starting date is 1 December 2026 or earliest possible.

The position focuses on econometric analysis of large-scale microdata and advanced NLP on text data. The candidate will lead data collection and analysis, may co-author on work packages, and can dedicate up to 20% of time to their own research pipeline.

Qualifications

Applicants will have completed a PhD in Management, Economics, or another related social science discipline before the beginning of the position.
Solid academic record and consistent work ethic required.
Well-developed organizational and oral/written communication skills required.
Motivation for research and aim to pursue a research professorship in the future.
Willingness to move to and live in Denmark.
Desirable: knowledge of econometric software (Stata or R) and Python.

Responsibilities

Take lead in collecting, preparing, and analyzing data to support the project.
Opportunity to join as a co-author on work packages within the project or propose own ideas.
Up to 20 percent of time can be used for existing research pipelines.
No teaching obligation.
