Job summary

DTU Management at the Technical University of Denmark invites applications for a 2-year Postdoctoral position in multi-disease modeling starting May 2027 or by mutual agreement. The PhD holder will join the Management Science Division and focus on developing models for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and stroke and assessing health policy interventions.

You will publish in international journals, present at conferences, and collaborate with researchers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Profound knowledge in Operations Research and Management Science and/or disease modeling.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, Julia or R.
• Experience in healthcare operations management, health policy modeling and health economics.
• PhD degree (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct your own research project.
• Contribute to health policy modeling.
• Strive to publish your work worldwide in recognised journals.
• Collaborate with researchers from the Management Science Division.
• Present your work at international conferences and seminars.
• Co-supervise engineering students with their thesis work.
