Job summary

DTU Management in Copenhagen seeks a PhD student in disease modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis. You will develop multi-disease models, estimate health effects and costs of interventions, and perform cost-effectiveness analyses within a 3-year program.

You will collaborate with the Management Science Division, publish your findings, and contribute to teaching while pursuing coursework totaling 30 ECTS. The position starts Feb 2027 or as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Profound knowledge in Operations Research and Management Science and/or disease modeling.
• Experience with health policy modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Python/Java/Julia/R.

Responsibilities

• Conduct your own research project.
• Contribute to new knowledge about health policy modeling and publish in recognised journals.
• Collaborate with researchers from the Management Science Division and present at conferences.
• Assist in teaching and co-supervise engineering students with their thesis work.
• Take classes equivalent to 30 ECTS over the PhD period.
