Job summary

Technical University of Denmark (DTU) Bioengineering invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to begin on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The research focuses on protein and peptide self-assembly using protein engineering, spectroscopy, scattering, biosensing and microfluidics.

The successful candidate will contribute to multiple projects, collaborate with others in an interdisciplinary lab, supervise a PhD student, and help maintain research equipment while delivering

Qualifications

• PhD required in a related field with a strong publication record.
• Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification.
• Proficiency in biophysical characterization using fluorescence, imaging, scattering and microfluidic methods.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to experimental efforts across protein self-assembly projects.
• Collaborate with postdocs and supervise a PhD student.
• Oversee instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
• Design experiments, analyze data, and prepare scientific manuscripts and conference talks.
