Job summary

DTU invites applications for a faculty-research position focused on AI-augmented Systems Engineering. The role centers on building and validating AI assistants that transform semi-structured data into MBSE SysML 2.0 models, delivering rigorous engineering analysis at scale and cost.

You will design pilots with Danish industry, manage the lab's AI compute stack, and supervise PhD/ MSc projects while integrating AI-linked teaching across the department.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent required in a relevant field.
• Strong competence in AI models and SysML 2.0 system modeling.
• Experience in MBSE and systems engineering analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate AI models that create and reason over SysML 2.0 system models.
• Design and run engineering pilots with Danish companies to measure lead time and risk.
• Build and operate the lab's local AI compute and model stack.
• Create local infrastructure for safety, security and reliability testing of AI assistants.
• Co-supervise PhD students and supervise BSc/MSc projects; integrate AI into teaching.
