Job summary

RDT is seeking a PLC Software Developer to support an industrial client by implementing and rolling out an internally developed software tool for production test equipment. This role contributes to compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and targets deployment across about 150 production test systems, including wet, dry, and motor testers.

You will work closely with automation engineers and cross-border stakeholders to adapt, implement and validate the solution across different equipment configurations.

Your background

We are looking for hands-on automation professionals with:

• 3–5 years of PLC programming experience, preferably in industrial testing, production equipment or automation.
• Experience with PLC software development and PC software integration.
• A solid understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt solutions to non-standard equipment configurations.
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate effectively in an international technical team.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Industrial safety systems and safety-related automation.
• Testing, commissioning and validation of production equipment.
• Experience with motor testers, wet testers, dry testers or similar industrial test systems.
