Plant Manager

Lead one of Elopak's key manufacturing operations and drive the next phase of operational excellence.

Elopak is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Plant Manager to lead our Danish manufacturing operation. With more than 300 employees and a pivotal role within Elopak's European production network, the plant is a cornerstone of our ability to deliver high-quality and sustainable packaging solutions to customers around the world.

As Plant Director, you will have overall responsibility for site performance across safety, operations, quality, service, cost and strategic development. You will lead a complex manufacturing environment, advancing the site's Operational Excellence agenda and delivering sustainable business results.

This is a highly visible leadership role with significant influence on both local performance and Elopak's broader manufacturing strategy, requiring close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for site performance, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
  • Define and execute the site's operational strategy, translating business objectives into sustainable operational and financial results.
  • Drive the site's Operational Excellence agenda through Lean, TPM and a line-centric operating model, delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
  • Manage budgets, investments and cost improvement programs to deliver sustainable business performance and long‑term competitiveness.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing leadership team across production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain and support functions.
  • Ensure successful execution of strategic projects, capacity expansions and transformation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, employee representatives, customers and key internal stakeholders.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related technical discipline.
  • Additional business, commercial or financial education is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including several years with overall responsibility for a manufacturing site or major production operation.
  • Proven success driving operational excellence through TPM, WCM, Lean or similar methodologies.
  • Experience from an international matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget responsibility and cost management.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, maintenance, quality and supply chain operations.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
