Nordic Salt Cycle is a new and rapidly growing startup at thecutting edgeof criticalmineralsrecovery. We are developing a groundbreaking process enabled by our proprietary molten salt technology to recover target materials from end-of-life products and primary sources. We are moving from laboratory development into pilot-scale operation and are building the engineering capabilities needed to take our technology from pilot plant to first-of-a-kind commercial deployment.
We are looking for a Pilot Plant Engineer to help build, commission and operate our pilot plant in Roskilde. This is a highly hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with our wider technical team during commissioning, testing and development . Joining at this stage means having a direct influence on how our technology and future plants are designed.
You are a practical and curious engineer who enjoys wor king hands-on wit h equipment rather than exclusively behind a desk. You are organized, comfortable taking ownership of pilot plant operations, and thrive in an environment where equipment and processes are continuously tested and improved.
The pilot plant marks the beginning of Nordic Salt Cycle’s scale-up journey. As our technology progresses, the role offers several potential development paths, depending on your strengths and interests.
You may choose to develop further within R&D and prototype development, using insights from pilot operations to design, build, and test the next generation of process equipment.
Alternatively, the role may grow into a leadership position within our future Operations organisation, with increasing responsibility for developing operational procedures, building and leading teams, and preparing our technology for commercial-scale production.
