DTU - Technical University of Denmark invites applications for a PhD position focused on island operation of distribution grids and resilience of power systems, in collaboration with DTU Space and DTU Electro.

You will develop methods for islanded grids, integrate conventional measurements with DER data and surveillance to maintain situational awareness, and create an explainable data model for coordination with grid operators.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year master's degree or equivalent.
• Strong background in power systems and data-driven methods.
• Excellent command of English and scientific communication.

Responsabilités

• Develop methods for islanded operation of microgrids and distribution systems.
• Integrate conventional measurements with DER and surveillance data to maintain system state awareness.
• Design self-representing explainable data models for coordination with grid operators.
