DTU Engineering Technology is seeking a PhD candidate to investigate adaptive restorative XR at the intersection of HCI, machine learning, biosensing, and accessibility. You will design and evaluate trustworthy, interpretable XR experiences in a joint DTU-KTH project with co-supervision and extended research stays at KTH.
The appointment is for 3 years and based on the Danish collective agreement; the expected starting date is January 2027.

We are looking for a PhD candidate to investigate adaptive restorative XR at the intersection of HCI, machine learning, biosensing, and accessibility. You will design and evaluate trustworthy, interpretable XR experiences in a joint DTU-KTH project with co-supervision and extended research stays at KTH.
You must have a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree.
The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes at DTU. For information about our enrolment requirements and the general planning of the PhD study programme, please see DTU's rules for the PhD education.
