Job summary

DTU - Technical University of Denmark is seeking a PhD student to develop technologies for creating building information models of existing structures. The project focuses on visual computing, machine learning, and vision-language models to extract structural information from data and photographs for BIM generation.

The successful candidate will be enrolled in the DTU Compute PhD School, affiliated with the Section for Visual Computing, and will contribute to the CEBE program under the Villum

Qualifications

• Background in visual computing (computer graphics and computer vision).
• Two-year master's degree (120 ECTS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to visual computing research using ML and vision-language models.
• Develop methods to extract information from images and data sources to generate BIMs of existing structures.
