Job summary

Region Hovedstaden, Nordsjællands Hospital, Denmark, invites applications for a Doctoral Candidate (DC7) within the DETECTIVE programme to work on Work Package 2. You will evaluate multicenter surveillance and develop data-driven models of population susceptibility and transmission dynamics.

Starting 1 March 2027 for 36 months, with on-site work in Hillerød. Strong English skills and experience in epidemiology are required; international secondments are planned.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, epidemiology, public health or related field.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with large epidemiological data and infectious diseases is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build data-driven models of population susceptibility, infection and transmission dynamics.
• Collect and analyze structured results and data from the work other DCs in DETECTIVE.
• Conduct seroprevalence studies on biobank samples from the Danish National Biobank.
