Job summary

The University of Copenhagen's KU - SUND - Kbh Ø invites applications for a three-year PhD fellowship in protein analysis, starting Feb 1, 2027 or as soon as possible. The project blends protein chemistry, HDX-MS, SAXS, and radioligand binding techniques to advance drug discovery while training in a dynamic interdisciplinary setting.

The successful candidate will carry out independent research, complete PhD courses (~30 ECTS), and may have opportunities for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (equivalent Danish master’s).
• Experience with HDX-MS and protein chemistry.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out an independent research project under supervision.
• Complete PhD courses (~30 ECTS).
• Participate in active research environments; possible international stay.
• Teach or disseminate PhD findings.
• Write and defend a PhD thesis.
