The Ravnskjaer lab at SDU invites applications for a three-year PhD fellowship starting December 1, 2026, or soon after. The project focuses on adipose tissue lipoprotein clearance with hands-on adipose tissue/microvascular biology work, liver biology and mouse models in a collaborative, international environment.

Strong emphasis on wet-lab and computational biology skills, English proficiency, and the ability to work across disciplines.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Life Science (Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, or Computational Systems Biology).
• Strong collaborative and communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Documented hands-on experience with liver biology, cell culture and mouse physiology.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on experimental work in adipose tissue or microvascular biology for the project on molecular determinants of adipose tissue lipoprotein clearance.
• Work with mouse models and related in vivo/in vitro experiments.
• Collaborate across disciplines to translate hypotheses into biological insights and mechanisms.
