Job summary

DTU Chemical Engineering invites applications for a PhD focused on CO2 capture, utilization and storage. The successful candidate will work in a cutting-edge, international research setting, contributing to experimental work, modelling, data analysis and publication.

The position is a PhD stipend with a 3-year period, starting in 2026, within an international environment at DTU. You will join the AT-CERE research group and engage in advanced topics in PtX and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in chemical engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of conventional CO2 capture technologies.
  • Experience with modelling of chemical engineering systems.
  • Structured approach to work tasks.
  • Attention to detail in reporting.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently as well as ability to plan and execute complex tasks and to engage constructively in a large, international and cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Good English communication skills, spoken and written.
  • You must have a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree.
