Job summary

NNE is seeking a Simulation Engineer to join Early Simulation Insights in Denmark. You will develop data-driven process models that support the design and optimisation of API manufacturing facilities and translate results into actionable engineering decisions.

You will collaborate with process, utility and modelling specialists to evaluate production scenarios, equipment configurations and capacity strategies, and help shape the digital twin roadmap and early design verification efforts.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in process modelling or simulation in pharma/biotech or related industry.
• Hands-on experience with INOSIM, Aspen Plus/HYSYS, MATLAB, Python, DWSIM or similar.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build process models to evaluate capacity, utilisation and production schedules.
• Assess equipment configurations, batch strategies and cleaning approaches.
• Develop digital twins for early design verification and Virtual C&Q.
• Translate simulation results into engineering recommendations with cross-functional specialists.
