Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. You should have a strong understanding of different pastry techniques and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce high-quality desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to menu specifications
• Create new recipes and develop unique flavor combinations
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
• Train and supervise other pastry team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
• Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative dessert options
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish is a plus)
• Must be legally eligible to work in Denmark

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
