Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's computer systems and networks. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience in risk management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate any incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure solutions for new systems or applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks
• Conduct employee training on information security best practices
• Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
• Knowledge of common security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption technologies, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear language for non-technical stakeholders

Location: This position is located in Odense but remote work options may be available.

Salary: The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Contract Type: This is a contract position with potential for extension.
