Job summary

SteelAxis is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist in Greenland to create detailed drawings and plans, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure compliance with codes and regulations. This part-time role offers visa sponsorship and encourages women to apply.

You will produce CAD drawings, coordinate with design teams, and participate in site visits and feasibility assessments while keeping up-to-date with industry materials and techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Proficient in CAD software AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals to develop design concepts.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility.
• Prepare cost estimates, material specifications and construction schedules.
• Review contractor bids and communicate with contractors during construction phase.
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends, building materials and construction techniques.
