Job summary

UrbanLogic is seeking a Part-Time Accountant in Greenland to manage financial records and transactions on a part-time basis. The role offers flexible hours and requires detail-oriented, independent work with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and prepare statements for management. Visa assistance and a round-trip ticket are provided, with a focus on accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Communicate with vendors, clients and other stakeholders to resolve accounting inquiries or issues.
• Prepare tax documents and assist with tax filings as needed.
