Job summary

GulfDesign UAE is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our busy Greenland store. You will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, and keep the checkout area neat and orderly.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning items, handling payments, and supporting inventory and store policies. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as cashier or in customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential for customer interactions.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling.

We are in search of a reliable and friendly Part-Time Cashier to join our team at our busy retail store in Greenland. As a Cashier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service accurately processing transactions and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and answer any inquiries they may have
• Accurately scan and process items at the checkout counter
• Process cash credit or debit card payments and issue accurate change
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area including restocking bags and supplies as needed
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying management when items are running low
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling returns and exchanges
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Prior experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays on a part-time basis
