Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Denmark is seeking an OT Analyst to design, validate and support automation and OT solutions across our global production network. You will translate manufacturing needs into compliant systems and maintain validated state throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities include risk-based validation, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement, with emphasis on GMP/GxP, cybersecurity, and enterprise integrations. The role is based in Høje Taastrup, mid-October 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in automation, electrical, software engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with automation systems, OT, testing or lifecycle support; Ignition and Python helpful.
• Knowledge of GMP/GxP, computerised system validation, change control.
• Experience in validation docs, test plans/scripts, deviations and acceptance testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

OT Analyst | Automation and GxP Validation

Join Novo Nordisk as an OT Analyst and play a key role in designing, implementing, validating, and supporting automation and OT solutions that help drive operational excellence across our global production network.

Your New Role

As an OT Analyst, you will work at the intersection of production, digital technology, quality, and engineering. You will help translate business and manufacturing requirements into robust, compliant, and sustainable automation solutions while ensuring systems maintain their validated state throughout their lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Designing, configuring, and implementing automation and operational technology solutions that meet business, quality, cybersecurity, and technical requirements.
• Planning and executing risk-based validation and testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, dry runs, and formal test execution.
• Supporting deployments, upgrades, and global rollouts through activities such as FIT/GAP assessments, documentation, training, and acceptance testing.
• Troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating technical issue resolution with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Contributing to standardisation initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of automation and validation practices.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Quality representatives, site teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of solutions that support reliable pharmaceutical production. You will have the opportunity to work independently while contributing to global initiatives and supporting sites both in Denmark and internationally. The role will be based in Høje Taastrup from Mid October 2026.

Your New Department

You will become part of a growing Digital & IT organisation dedicated to modernising and standardising automation and operational technology solutions, with specific focus in enterprise integrations and SCADA across Novo Nordisk's production network.

The department works closely with manufacturing sites, engineering teams, quality professionals, and business stakeholders to ensure that automation solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and fit for purpose. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Experience working with automation systems, operational technology, system configuration, programming, testing, or lifecycle support. Experience with Ignition and Python programming is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP/GxP principles, computerised system validation, testing methodologies, and regulated change control processes.
• Experience preparing and executing validation documentation, test plans, test scripts, deviations, defect management, and acceptance testing activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, production, engineering, quality, and Digital & IT functions.

It will be considered an advantage if you have experience from a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment, as well as familiarity with GAMP guidance, data integrity requirements, site deployment activities, and supplier collaboration.

Beyond your technical capabilities, you are analytical, organised, and detail oriented. You enjoy working with complex challenges, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and are motivated by continuous learning and improvement.

What We Offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600 to 734,400 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
