Job summary

G2 Recruitment is seeking a Freelance Site Manager to lead the construction, installation, commissioning and documentation for a utility‑scale renewable energy project in Denmark. You will coordinate solar PV and BESS work, review EPC deliverables and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on-site.

The role requires a Electrical engineering background, at least 2 years of team leadership, and hands-on experience with large-scale solar EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 2 years team leadership experience.
• 2+ years in utility-scale Solar PV design or EPC project management (100MW+).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full work plans and schedules for Solar PV + BESS projects.
• Review scope, cost estimates, schedules, contracting and implementation.
• Supervise on-site construction ensuring safety and quality.
• Review and validate designs, grid-connection requirements and EPC deliverables.
• Prepare As-Built drawings, progress payments and delay analyses.

G2 are working with an international EPC to recruit a Freelance Site Manager to manage the construction, installation, commissioning and documentation for a utility‑scale renewable energy project in Denmark.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate full work plans and implementation schedules for Solar PV + BESS projects.
• Review project scope, cost estimates, schedules, contracting and implementation arrangements.
• Supervise on‑site construction, ensuring compliance with design, safety and quality standards.
• Review and validate technical designs, specifications, grid‑connection requirements and EPC deliverables.
• Prepare and certify As‑Built drawings, progress payments and delay‑analysis / remediation reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 2 years team leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in utility‑scale Solar PV project design or EPC project management (100MW+ preferred).
• Experience in procurement, engineering processes, contracting or business administration.
• Knowledge of local standards/regulations, and prior PV project implementation exposure.
