Job summary

ERSG Ltd in Denmark is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support EPC contracts for utility-scale renewable energy projects across Europe on a freelance/fixed-term basis.

You will manage claims, variations and commercial terms, provide commercial advice to project teams and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure robust contract administration and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid travel within Denmark and across Europe may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager within renewable energy or major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and FIDIC contract forms.
• Experience managing claims, variations and contract administration.
• Ability to provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer EPC contracts across utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure obligations, entitlements and risks are managed during execution.
• Review contractual documentation and provide practical commercial advice to project teams.
• Support contract negotiations, including risk allocation and commercial terms.
• Lead and manage claims, variations and contractual notices.
• Ensure accurate contract administration and project documentation.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and external stakeholders on contract matters.
• Support continuous improvement of contract management processes and documentation.

We're supporting a leading renewable energy consultancy in securing an experienced Contract Manager to support the commercial and contractual delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in EPC contracts and FIDIC frameworks to join a high-performing project team on a contract basis. You'll play a key role in managing contractual risk, supporting project delivery, and ensuring commercial best practice across multiple live projects.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager within renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering or major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and FIDIC contract forms.
• Demonstrable experience managing claims, variations and contract administration.
• Ability to provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Background in engineering, commercial management, construction, quantity surveying or law.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Immediate or short-notice start preferred.
• Long-term contract opportunity with the potential for extension.
