Job summary
CERN - The European Research Center of Particle Physics is seeking a Project Engineer for the HL-LHC to join the Project Office within the Accelerators and Technology sector. The role focuses on de-installation and installation activities, updating 3D models, and coordinating with HL Activity coordinators to ensure schedule integrity.
The candidate will manage on-site activities, assess Engineering Change Requests, and contribute to Installation Readiness Reviews for major phases, with English
Qualifications
- Experience with project control and scheduling.
- Experience with multi-stakeholder negotiations.
- Experience with working in the field.
Responsibilities
- Daily follow up of the ongoing activities in the worksites, tracking progress according to schedule and identify schedule issues and technical divergences.
- Report to HL Activity coordinators and propose mitigation actions for schedule issues and technical divergences.
- Actively contribute to the installation schedule updates and changes considering the field work progress.
- Take part in the onsite organisation meeting, preparing material for it, providing support to the HL Activity coordinators.
- Analyse the impacts of submitted Engineering Change Requests (ECR) to the installation schedule and on project budget.
- Validate equipment integration and ensure the 3D models are updated accordingly.
