Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a major data centre project in Denmark. This hands-on role is on-site and focuses on taking complex mechanical infrastructure from installation through testing, commissioning and handover.

You will work in a fast-paced, international environment with 5+ years of project experience, ensuring robust commissioning plans and close collaboration with package engineers, vendors and site teams. Permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical commissioning on complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, LTHW, ventilation and pressurisation systems.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes, sequencing and system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and submittals.
• Support commissioning plans, methodologies and sequencing.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners, vendors and site teams.
• Prepare and review test packs and checklists.
• Witness functional testing and verify system performance.
• Lead walkdowns, tag walks and inspections.
• Track progress, snags and close‑out; support handover and client training.
