Job summary

LGC Biosearch Technologies in Lystrup, Denmark, is seeking an Oligonucleotide Development Scientist/Specialist to join the Technology Development Team. You will help develop and optimise next‑generation oligonucleotide manufacturing technologies for innovative customer projects.

The successful candidate will design and execute laboratory experiments, analyse data and drive process improvements in a collaborative, hands‑on environment. PhD/MSc in chemistry or biochemistry is preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific field, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
• Practical laboratory experience and a passion for science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
• Curiosity, initiative and a desire to learn and innovate.
• Experience in oligonucleotide synthesis or analytical characterisation is advantageous.
• Experience with LC‑MS or other analytical techniques is advantageous.
• Process development or process optimisation experience is advantageous.
• GMP or regulated laboratory environments experience is advantageous.
