Job summary

Baxter International Inc. invites applications for a Pharmacovigilance Specialist on a Nordic-focused, 1-year maternity leave contract, located in Soborg, Denmark, or Stockholm, Sweden. You will maintain a local PV system in compliance with EU and national rules, coordinating with UK PV and GPS teams.

You will lead ADR reporting, audits, third-party agreements, regulatory intelligence, and PV training, ensuring high compliance and risk management across the Nordics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or related field.
• 3–5 years in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety or related healthcare role.
• Fluent in Danish, Swedish and English with strong written and verbal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• ADR reporting: collect, document and transmit local reports to GPS per SOPs.
• Clinical trials: process SAEs and report as required by protocol.
• Audits/inspections: act as PV representative during inspections.
• Third-party agreements: ensure PV clauses and SPDs with partners.
• Local PV activities: liaise with national authorities and prepare responses.
• Regulatory intelligence: monitor Nordic authorities for safety signals.
• Training: provide PV trainings and maintain records.
• Procedures: develop and update local PV procedures per EU level.
• Compliance: monitor, document, and resolve noncompliance issues.
• Cluster collaboration: coordinate with UK PV team and GPS per model.
