BaseForce is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to join our Randers team. The role focuses on managing and maintaining network infrastructure, servers, and security measures to ensure reliable operations.

You will work with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud tools while providing end-user support and proactive maintenance. Competitive salary and visa sponsorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP networking protocols.
• Experience with server administration (Windows Server and Linux).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of security best practices and network/system hardening.

Job description

Location Randers Denmark. We are in need of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Randers. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining networks, servers and other related systems. This is a full‑time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Install, configure and maintain servers including file servers, email servers and database servers
• Ensure the security of all systems by implementing appropriate measures such as firewalls, antivirus software and backup systems
• Provide technical support to end‑users for any network or system related issues
• Conduct regular maintenance on all systems to ensure optimal performance
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvement when necessary

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP
• Experience with server administration including Windows Server and Linux systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for networks and systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSA
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
