Network and Systems Administrator – Horsens, Denmark

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Horsens. This contract position offers a salary of 1,700USD, free visa and ticket, and no accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the company’s network infrastructure to ensure smooth functioning.
• Implement security measures to protect the network from external threats.
• Troubleshoot any network issues that arise.
• Install, configure and maintain servers, routers, switches and other networking equipment.
• Provide technical support for all systems, including servers, workstations, printers and other devices.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest software updates and patches.
• Monitor system performance and make necessary optimizations.
• Create documentation of network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or a similar role.
• In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with server management, including installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE would be an advantage.
• Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in Horsens but may require occasional travel to other locations. The work environment is fast‑paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
