Unumed is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to build and run the infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our platform. You will collaborate with Development, QA and Data teams to keep deployments smooth, CI/CD healthy, and services reliable across AWS regions.

You will scale our infrastructure as we enter new markets, ensuring security and reliability. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud, container, and IaC work with a focus on automating and improving release processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS including VPC networking, IAM, EC2/EKS, and S3.
• Experience running Kubernetes workloads: kubectl, deployments, and service and ingress troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining or extending CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent), including build, test and security scanning stages.
• Docker expertise: building images and debugging containers.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform, and building reusable components.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and alerts in Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Git proficiency: branching, PRs, conventional commits, and pre-commit and linting checks.
• Clear communication. Ability to own small projects independently.

Responsabilités

• Maintain our AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads, and investigate deployment, networking, and performance issues.
• Build and review Terraform/Terragrunt changes, using Atlantis plans and peer review to assess risk before anything reaches production.
• Improve our Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based build and deployment workflows.
• Use our observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo) to investigate incidents and build dashboards and alerts.
• Work with development and QA teams to resolve deployment issues and make releases more predictable.
• Identify and fix infrastructure security risks, including findings from CI scanning and configuration checks.
• Document operational procedures and drive improvements to our tooling and processes.

What we are looking for

Must have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS, including VPC networking, IAM, EC2/EKS and S3.
• Practical experience running Kubernetes workloads: kubectl, deployments, and service and ingress troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining or extending CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent), including build, test and security scanning stages.
• Confidence with Docker: building images and debugging containers.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform, and a habit of building reusable components rather than duplicating configuration.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and alerts in Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Fluency with Git: branching, pull requests, conventional commits, and working with pre-commit and linting checks.
• Clear communication. You can explain infrastructure decisions to both senior engineers and newer colleagues.
• The ability to own a small, well-scoped project independently, and to know when to bring in senior input.
