Job summary

Collen Construction in Copenhagen (Høje Taastrup) seeks an MEP Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join the Estimating Department. You will support preconstruction, tendering, and cost estimation for MEP systems across Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Commercial and Data Centre sectors.

You will report to the Estimating Director in Dublin and collaborate with a regional team. Danish work location is Copenhagen with travel in Europe as required.

Qualifications

• Bid management for MEP projects with a team.
• Review specs, drawings and tender docs for competitive bids.
• Strong communication and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for MEP systems on major projects.
• Review client specs, drawings, and tender docs for competitive bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and design teams.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Identify risks and opportunities for value engineering.
• Support pre-construction planning and tender presentations.
• Maintain documentation of estimating processes and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Advise on procurement strategy.
• Understand building contracts and health & safety implications.
