Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund is seeking a dedicated engineering intern for Quality in Development. You will join our team to test LEGO elements and components, design tests, and help advance new testing methods while gaining hands-on experience.

As a mechatronics engineering student, you will collaborate across teams, analyze data from tests, and plan projects. Proficiency in English and a proactive mindset are essential; Python and CAD are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Mechatronics engineering student must count internship for ECTS.
  • Willing to take initiative and collaborate, and can work independently.
  • Python proficiency is preferred but not required.
  • CAD software skills are preferred but not required.
  • Proficient English (written and spoken).

Core Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate engineering intern in Quality in Development. Here you will work together with the different teams to perform tests on LEGO® elements and components and create new ways of testing.

  • Prepare, design, and conduct mechanical test.
  • Collect and analyze data from mechanical test.
  • Support your colleagues across the team.
  • Plan projects together with the team.
  • Create new testing methods.

Do you have what it takes?
You are a committed mechatronics engineering student currently enrolled in a higher education program where the internship must count for a certain number of ECTS points. Furthermore, you enjoy taking initiative, and have strong collaborations skills while still being able to work independently. Moreover:

  • Proficiency in Python (not required, but preferred).
  • CAD software skills (not required, but preferred).
  • A passion for being curious and openminded.
  • A flair for asking questions and getting in touch with fellow colleagues.
  • A naturalness for presenting your ideas and findings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient English skills (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work 37 hours a week at our location in Billund.
  • Ability to do an internship from february 2027.
